I had one, didn't really use it. Its a pain to play near sunlight because its glossy and long rides better take the charger because the battery life I believe is a max of 5hrs.

Well yeah your having a massive pull of current to run it, since the alt can't handle it. It will pull the current out of the battery and after so much time the battery will run low and after enough times the battery won't recharge.

I must agree its prob a cheap made guitar. On the other hand I'm sure if you threw it to someone like Eric Clapton or Steve Vai, they could make it sound just as good as anything else. I have a 12yr old Washburn, when they actually made decent guitars.

Yes, I just ran the power wire to the back since I went such a big system, i ran an 0g wire and just threw a battery on it, instead of a capasitor.

I really doubt you will need to worry about the alt.Thats my setup power wise minus the M&T amp and I have a stock battery and alt still from when I got the car 2 years ago.Kinda cool to see there's another gen vibe person from my general area of Ohio.

Is it a constant hiss, or do you kind of hear the engine in it if its turned down?Check the power and ground make sure they are secure from the front to the back and that the ground is on a metal surface that has the paint removed.

Well if you feel there is too much bass, look into a amp for the highs down the road. I have just the M&T amp running my highs and I can still get an all around sound. Which my bass is quite insane if you ask me.

Thats a 12" purple cathode under the driver side dash.. I don't have a problem with glow interfering with my night vision tho, I use to have them on the ceiling of my old car.
