Im just looking for some ideas for a layout for a sound system for an 04 vibe any help would be apreciated

What all are looking to have done, such as switching out highs, adding subs, or what?Do you want it to be high in SQ, SQL, or SPL?

Well im looking at just putting in some subs and an amp for now.

It all depends on what you want, as I said. Like what kinda music do you listen too and how far do you want to take it. For an example, this is my setup right now.Head Unit: Alpine Mp3/CD PlayerHighs: Memphis M-ClassHighs amp: M&T Amp (Factory)Subs: Alpine Type R 15sSubs amp: 2 JBL 1200.1sExtras: Memphis X-Over and a Optima Yellow Top under the hood and in the hatch.

Knowing a price range, how much bass, and how much space you want to take up in the hatch will help.
