Where to put amp power wire through firewall....?

THe long 3 month phase of my audio transformation will be complete after i get through one huge hurtle...I have installed all the audio componets i could ever ask for but when it came to the sub i was stumped...I have purchased a Bazzoka Sub with a built in amp...it says that it has an auto turn on feature, so i dont have to wire a turn on lead...But anyway to the point! I cant find where do wire the darn thing! I poped the hood and saw two places that i THOUGHT i could go through but had no luck..could someone take a pic of there engine compartment where they whent through the fire wall to get into the cabin to run the powercord to the amp/sub, and/or directions?...would be greatly apreciated! After i get this done i will take a pic of of all my mods i have done and the simple audio system i have worked so long to finish! (its not much, but its meanfull to me LOL)

Oh so you actually drilled a hole...well i would rather not do that...my power cord is about half that size so i dont need much space..the amp is like only a 100 watts and my cord is rated for like 220 watts so its super small. i would rather go through an existing hole.. but thanks so much for the pic mabie i will have to do that to but i really dont want to! Has anyone done it so that you dont have to drill a hole?PS: love that color vibe!

Thanks, right besides that hole is the grommet i do believe, which u can take like a metal clothes hanger and poke it cuz thats where the other jumbled wires are going through.

When i looked in my engine compartment to the left of the block there is a-hole bunch of wires going into a ruber ring. the wires go through the center of that ring. i was wondering if i could push that away on the side and push my wire through..when inisde the car, and you take the glove box out, on the right is where the hosing is that i want to push to the side..mabie this is what you are talking about. ill see if i can get a pic..

joho: Yes, I ran my amp cable through that rubber gromit. I did NOT REMOVE IT, but rather poked a hole through it (long, thin, sharp knife or broken coathanger can do this) and ran the cable through the grommit so it kept the seal. Kaos: I don't see a fuse on that 4ga wire...you should have a fuse within 18" of the battery to keep from possible shorts. This is especially important if you don't have anything between the wire and the hole you drilled, as leaning up on the cut metal may cut through the insulation over time.

Off of the battery you can see on the air intake box, that there is a 250a breaker fuse. Then I have it running to the back of the car to a fuse another battery and also another fuse. Soon I plan on atempting to tear the entire interior out to place down some hushmatt or whatever I come across like it for the entire floor, run 2 sets of wires to the 2nd battery, and get a peice of plastic to kind of have a custom grommet on their so I don't have to worry about anything.
