Alright... I was wondering where some of you have placed the ones under the hood some pics maybe, I took it in and had a car audio dealer do it. They put it on my freakin air filter box... I plan to take that out or heck even change the filter when I go to do an oil change... I have 0awg going through the car.. So I'm looking to maybe a new place to mount my fuse. so that its not really metal on metal or maybe a way to ziptie it down to the side of the engine bay on the drive side where the fuse box is in that area... Any help is greatly apperciated.
I actually have my 120A fuse on my 4ga running up to my strut-tower bar (longer than 18in, I know) and mounted it to that.I have an 8ga running to my inverter that's just kinda wedged between the filter box and the fuse box..

I thought since it was on metal it would be bad, cuz I got a 200A circuit breaker, hmmmm i guess I could put it there easy to get to and i can do a short ram no problem thank you

But seriously - they should know better than mounting it there - a often accessed maintenance point is the last place you'd want that.
Oh its drilled.... 2 screws... Morons, Yeah I was thinking a short ram but yeah I'd still have to move it, I may just look for a new tip for my muffler to get the bumble bee sound outa it and say forget the intake and maybe some springs or rims.
Where'd you get it installed? That's a very bad way to mount a fuse. As long as the contacts on the circuit breaker can't touch metal, you should be fine..
