Noise coming from inside of Driver's side door

Post by stljoey »

a number of months ago I backed out of my garage and pulled loose the molding piece on the drivers side door. I snapped it back into place but soon after I began hearing a "screw loose" type of sound every time I came to a stop or sometimes when going up hill. I took it to the dealer and he took the door apart and did not find any pieces or screws loose in the door frame, etc. does anyone know what it may be?Thanks in advanceJoe from St. Louis

Is it a sort of rolling sound more more like a spring with an echo kind of sound?

Its said that, the vibe was taken to the dealer to be looked at and all was fine. On mine I noticed like a springy sound in my driver door. If I lean my leg against the door it goes away so I'm wondering if its the latch or just the pannel flexing/vibrating to make it have that sound. I guess when I get around to sound deadening it up I'll just add it to my doors, just more to add on the list of work to my car just for some SQ/SPL on my system.
