There is no dampener like other engines have (SBC.etc.) The crank pulley, atleast on the 2ZZ, is one solid hunk of metal with nothing else attached.

glad to hear it worked out for you. It seems no matter what the car, the impact is the way to go. Alot of the time you need an offset wrench and even then they sometimes wont get in the opening deep enough to get on the nut. That sounded bad. LOL

50,000 is way too long for a cone on a CAI, Down in the fenderwell filters get a lot dirtier that if they were sitting in an aibox in the engine compartment. I tend to clean mine probably around every 6k or so but 10k should be fine.

No part that is cast can be perfect, I'm sure there spots that could use some touching up, perhaps some port matching, but you don't want to go hogging out anything, as the 2ZZ is designed to breathe well from the factory.

I never used the impact to tighten the lugnuts on the Vibe, just to take them off quick. I always use a torque wrench to tighten.
