Before I fell in love with the Vibe I spent my time and money on MY car... an '02 Grand Am GT. Now that I have devoted my efforts to Cathy's car, the GA is pretty much to get me from point A to point B. Here are a few pics Cathy took for me right before is started raining Sunday after participating in a car show. (hence the ominous skies) I knew my car wouldn’t be that clean for long and wanted proof that its has been washed this year.
Yea but...it ain't no Vibe!!! The pics hardly do his finish any justice...the surface was about as slick as...well, really slick stuff. The paint just mirrored all the surroundings....Time for the Vibe to get Zaino'ed.
CathyWhen this baby hits 6.000rpm's, you're gonna see some serious sh*t-Got Lift?'03 Neptune Vibe GT: SLP Hood, AEM CAI, Thermal R&D exhaust, Unorthodox underdrive pullies, K&N filter, G-Racing 17' Mito's, TEIN Springs, yellow calipers, GrafxWerks, Silverstar's, XM, Infinity basslink-more mods to come!http://www.mitro.net/vibe
yeah, I was tempted to get a new Grand Am w/ the factory body kit, anniversary edition or something. then I remembered how my 98 GA broke down all the time having less than 10K miles on it. Plus I couldn't get the V6 in a manual transmission. I still think they're one of the best looking cars out there, Mike's especially. Very nice looking.
I've always been a GM J-body fan (Cavalier/Sunbird/Sunfire) and the GA is very similar (engine/chassis). They are great cars. I almost bought a GA/GT or an Alero (Olds version of the GA). The only thing I don't like about the GA/GT is the little winglets on top of the rear wing. The dash is a little strange. The instrument cluster looks like a pair of boobs and the little air vents look like eyes staring at the boobs. LOL!Otherwise, they are great cars. I also like the new version of the GA/SE with all the cladding removed. A much cleaner look.New:Old:
