Alright, I have my pics ready to go for viewing here:http://gallery.genvibe.com/gallery/03OhioThey are pretty large in size, but I do plan on resizing them to be smaller, especially to help out our dial-up members (I promise!). Also keep an eye out for the writeups on the OH meet as well as the NE meet on the main GenVibe page this coming week.Thank's again to everyone who helped out making this meet possible, as well as everyone for attending. They're great, I'm loving them!quote:They really look nice, looks like an expensive option LOLThey're great at night...visible from far away...hardly expensive though...paid only around $40 US when all was said and done...labor costs, however, are through the roof...It is a difficult install which requires a lot of patience...took scherry2 and I a good 3 hours to get just one door done because of all the snags we kept hitting...

quote:It is the labor costs that scare me I have no patience though, I need someone who has done this before *hint* *hint*There are no labor costs. It was a joke. I'd be glad to help you do it, but you need to dedicate a good day to it...I hope to make the next Canada meet...but who can say for sure...

My comment about the labor costs was due to my little patience and probably ripping or smashing something if I tried to install it myself!!!I have put an invitation out for people in your area and surroundings for our Montreal/Quebec meet, are you interested? If you help me out, I will supply you with good, cold Canadian beer

Dan Tobin Pontiac - in particular Dan Tobin, Judy Brentlinger, and Mike Sweeney - were awesome and very attentive to any of our needs. We will definitely be holding our future Ohio meets at this location - lots of room for more cars too (hint hint!).
Great pics Nick! Looks like everyone had a great time. Sorry I missed it. I will definately make it to the next Ohio meet. Return the favor for those who came to the Michigan meet.

Great pics there Nick (even though I am on dial-up)... felt like I was there. Oh wait, I was there! Great getting to meet everyone (and some for a second time) and now I can put a face with all the screen names. Maybe next time I won't have so many bugs on the front of my car... ugh! As for my sunburn, nowhere near as bad as it was at the MI meet. That sunblock I used was a lifesaver! Just a little crispy on the back of my legs and a little red on my face, but nothing a bit of aloe gel won't cure. Drink plenty of liquids! For only the cost of a Pontiac Vibe, a full tank of gas and a spare sunny afternoon spent with other GenVibe members... you too can join the "I got a sunburn at the Vibe Meet" Club. I almost forgot to say thanx to esjones for showing up at our Dayton Caravan departure point, just to get to meet a few of us since he wasn't able to make it to the meet. Lots of pics up here esjones, take a look at 'em and hope you can make it next time!

Update:The signals are completely installed and wired! They look and work great! I'm glad I did this install (of course, due in LARGE PART to scherry2!!!!)If you're thinking of doing this, BE WARNED, it took two of us 3 or 4 hours to do it, and it wasn't even done by then...so it is VERY tedious to do. Hard, no. Tedious, VERY.Will get pics ASAP!!!

I actually thought we broke a mirror...but good 'ol scherry2 showed me that it just snapped back in...the fact he works for GM made things so much better!

I was just thinking the same thing on my drive home!I'm glad you like the Silverstars... I think everyone needs to get those because they make a BIG difference.

Dam! I wish I could have made it! One of my "little ones" was sick Friday night so....Oh well next time. FYI: he (Ryan 4 yrs old) really wanted to go too. I thinkIm in trouble his first word was car, he knows what a checkered flag is for and walks around w/ a 1/43 scale turbo XS WRX "Like daddy's old car". he's warming up to the vibe though.

george - awesome looking Vibe - definitely put alot of hard work into it which has paid off! Here's a pic taken of our little 9-vehicle convoy over to Fuddruckers to eat. The pic was taken by pwarren4's wife, which was the last vehicle in the line. Got some cool looks from passer-by's, priceless. I have many pics from pwarren4 I will be posting soon.
Great pic... I see my car! That was the intersection just before everyone almost bottomed out pulling into the parking lot. They need to fix that.Sweet lookin' Vibe george... I'm jealous!
