And another one:http://www.spiralmax.comThere is quite a few gimmick products out there like these three.They claim to increase HP and fuel economy, but I don't see how.I would recommend not buying these products and sticking to the proven performance upgrades like CAI, Cat-Back and Uni-chip.

That would work perfect. I prefer to sit a little higher. So it makes the cente armrest even lower. The higher armrest with the extra storage tray would be perfect. Thank for the tip.Brian

I got a price of $189 from a bunch of stoner's at a hole in the wall shop and a price of $200 from a very nice performance shop called "Hyper-Tek's Area 51". That's for the whole car at any tint % and color.Brian

Well, here is a pic of the 3M Hood Protector. It cost $199 installed and is removable and replaceable. I think it is much better looking than a bug shield even if it is more $$$. You can barely see the line where it ends:

...there's no real power that high up in the band...Is that the case? There wouldn't be any real power from 6400 up to 7800? So in the Vibe GT is there also no real power up over 6400 RPM to the rev limiter, even in the lower gears?

Max RPM @ 6400?

I have a 2005 AWD and I was cruisin' around today and noticed that my rpm would not go above 6400, no matter what I tried. Is there a restriction on the max rpm that an AWD can handle? Isn't redline at 8300?(not that I'm going there)Thanks!

Does fuel octane affect engine performance...

on the standard engine of the AWD Model? Does using a higher octane gas increase the engine's horsepower, acceleration and performance? I'm using the minimum octane now, which is 87. I can also get 90 and 93 in my area.

Are there any performance differences between the two?I know the Cat-Back will not work on the AWD. Will the Axel-Back work or is it basically the same problem with modifying it to the extra bends in the pipes on the AWD?

As far as rebates go, I bought mine two weeks ago and was offered rebates totalling $3500 on the '05 Vibe. ($1000 Pontiac, $1000 Conquest & $1500 from the dealer) It was during their 72 hours sales event for the roll-out of the Pontiac G6 and The Buick LeSabre.
