Hello New Friends!I just purchased a Neptune mono on the 27th of Sept. with graphite seats, automatic, stock stereo, no anti-lock breaks, no awd....pretty base but excellent all-the-way. I love it...though I only have 320 miles on it -- you know, work intrudes. My boyfriend has been monitoring the forum and this is my first chance to stop in and look around. Sorry for no pic, but I will get around to this in the next day or so.I'm in Sacramento, CA.Looking forwad to talking with you all! This is my first new car too - at 35! thelovevibe

Wow -- thanks for all of the welcomes...We got the stock on the lot...you know, didn't want to wait. I just had a '95 Subaru legacy wagon and had problems with the AWD...and we don't really need it here. Pretty mild weather with no snow. I think I would have liked to have anti-lock breaks, but justified this in that I drive *fairly* safely in that I pay attention and don't tailgate, so I usually don't have to jam on the breaks. I like the stereo that is there okay.....potential upgrade is likely. The horn alarm isn't much of a thing at all, so I have to get a good alarm sytem.Only downfall so far is that I noticed on the driver side the lower mono moulding wasn't glued on completely for about 5 inches closest to the wheel. I am thinking about taking it to the dealer to have them just fix that....I could write everything I am thinking here, but I know there are appropriate forums for that!

Welcome! I'm kind of a noob myself, but very glad to see another west coast owner join the site! There is a plethora of "Vibe" knowledge here, and most everyone is very friendly, so don't be afraid to ask anything if you have any questions. Enjoy the Vibe! And yes...take your Vibe back to the dealer regarding the molding!Steve
