What do you mean by armrest extension?

You know, the center armrest with the storage. By extension, I mean to increase it in height, for it is too low.

My daughter made me a little pillow that sits on top of the armrest...works great. I use on in most of the vehicles I drive, seems like engineers design the armrest for short people only.

The armrest height is ok for me. What's your seat height? If you lower the drivers seat, the armrest is relatively higher. How much do you want to raise the armrest?

It's a good height for me too. I drive with the seat in it's lowest position. If you want to see a low armrest, sit in an '05 Vibe. When I got in, I leaned towards my right elbow as I always do and almost fell over into the passenger seat.

That was definitely a mistake to delete the extra storage compartment on the '05s but they have a much improved seat height adjustment. Instead of the big knob on the side , they have a lever. Pull up to raise and push down to lower. It even works when you are sitting in the seat!

That would work perfect. I prefer to sit a little higher. So it makes the cente armrest even lower. The higher armrest with the extra storage tray would be perfect. Thank for the tip.Brian
