Good read and I have noticed blue Halogen bulbs are actually dimmer then pure white, of the same wattage that is. Bought them once, traded the car in and kept the bulbs just as spares from now on. No more fake HID blue bulbs for me.

Thats interesting, that article said that the Silverstars have a blue coating on them. They looked to be a clear glass to me when I purchased them. Especially when you compare them to the Coolblues. Sylvania IMO is just trying to make a whiter, brighter halogen bulb to compete with the more expensive HID systems. The coolblues and others like them are a blatent ripoff of the HID. Why else would they have the thick blue saranwrap around a standard halogen bulb if not trying to mimic the look of European headlights.

Things like a bulb replacement are not rice to me, unless the entire vehicle screams of rice already and the person then adds a blue bulb. Then I suppose you could call it rice!Fake Turbo? You have seen that???

Wow I have not, very sad! If someone bolts on a fake turbo for looks is obviously pretty dumb since the vehicle itself when raced, will prove it is not turboed. People will do anything with cars!

For some reason I'm strongly tempted to buy one of those "electric turbochargers" and blow some money on a dyno for it. P) No one ever said skepticism was reasonable, though.
