well as a former owner of a 69 GTO, all I can say is:THEY (Pontiac) can keep it. Why couldn't they do something like the upcoming mustang (e.g. very late 60's early 70's looking). Then I'd be interested. the only simlarilty w/ the new "goat" is the 66-67 looking badge.

Yeah Thats the one I was thinking about (awd w/twin spools) that was sooooooo pricey (but worth it in my book). I dig the stealth is it an RT? those were sweet cars, too bad they were kinda pricey and didn't sell well (RT was signfigantly more $$ than the ES or base model cuz of the go fast x-tras) They were/are awd aren't they?

The total for the kit (installed) was 2200, I didn't use the top wing and got 300 for it. so....1900. I got it at carflair.com and it was about 480-490. It did require a few coats of clear to make it that shinny and the hood latch needed to be moved a little.

Yeah or the miror glaize too, them polish after it drys. I'd try this b4 the rubbing compound. fyi: I used the old fishing line trick to remove mine, then used orange clean (same as goo gone) for the small spot, but I didb't have any problems (matbe cuz mines white?)

At last!

Got it back from the shop tonight, and DAAAMMM the hood came out nice (w/ several coats of clear). They even did the underside (replaced padding and chip guarded it)
