There was a thread about it a few weeks back I believe, you can actually go to mazda's website and look at their up and coming section (or whatever it is called) and get a whole lot of pictures.Anyone read Danish? Those are nice pics from that link though, thanks for posting it

I don't think Nova was rude, considering the fact that the Mazda3 was the subject of a very very recent thread. I can see maybe not finding a post that was old, or posting a newly updated one, but this was fairly recently discussed. Anyway its here now, so lets get back on topic!

I should note, there is a ton of sarcasm in my above posts. But, there is alot of truth also. People, in general, are lazy and would rather have information spoon-fed to them instead of doing some research on their own. This is why email hoaxes are so common. People believe what they are told instead of doing some research to find out if it's true or not.

I deal with the same thing day in and day out at work. I'm getting used to it as it seems to only spread anymore. Anyway, I would really like to see this Mazda in person. Hopefully they will be showing it up at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2004.Nothing new, but almost all vehicle manufacturers will be selling some type of cross-over vehicle soon (if not most already). It's interesting to see the various design differences and likeness when comparing them to other makes.

Funny, that's exactly what he did. **sarcasm off**SUGGESTION TO AVOID THIS IN THE FUTURE: Site admin(s), please make the tiny "search" link more prominent. Bold it, enlarge it...something! Thanks in advance, Nova would appreciate it
I remember a thread about the time I first joined genvibe, there was a debate about attitude in posts, and how civility was desired, but others pointed out that disagreement was beneficial, and that the site was not intended to be some sort of "hippie love fest" That term stuck (I wouldn't mind a hippie love fest every now and then), but I haven't been able to find that thread with the search function, maybe it got moderated. There are often new threads that get started instead of continuing past, or even other current threads. There's a lot of threads on superchargers, CAIs, gas mileage. Sometimes it's hard to know which one to continue. Also, especially for the new users, they might not see the search function until they post a duplicate thread and get pointed to it. I can't remember what introduction to the site I got when I signed up, and there are three "tips", but they only show up if you go to Vibe Lounge and extend the time period back far enough, then they show up at the top, but are otherwise not visible. Maybe they need to be bumped periodically. When I first saw the Nissan thing that looks like a Vibe, I started to post a new thread, and then did a search, found the previous thread and didn't start a new one. I probably wouldn't have searched if genvibe members didn't periodically tell others to use the search feature. Bottom line - Nova, thanks for the reminder about the search feature.doesn't really apply to this particular thread, but this is a forum, and people ask questions here. Sometimes asking a question here is part of doing research. ask an expert. I've learned a lot here, hope nobody thinks I'm lazy for not figuring out the answers to my questions by myself. The title of this thread reminded me of my favorite batman cliffhanger, where Catwoman had batman and robin tied to a large metal plate on the roof of some building, and she was going to cook them when the sun came out with a giant magnifying glass. She had her henchmen paint them with margarine "to enhance the frying action" To this , Robin said "Holy Oleo Batman" and Catwoman replied, "Robin, I didn't know you could yodel!" You could tell the writers came up with that comeback and contrived the whole peril scene just to be able to work it into an episode. That Mazda3 looks so much like a Vibe If I do see one on the road I won't be able to tell the difference. it will be interesting to compare specs on it with Vibes. I'm sure it will be a great car (I like the look), but I can't just switch cars every year or two, so I won't buy one, even it it puts Vibes to shame
i remember that thread i think. it was in the engine and transmission or forced induction topics. I can't remember. something about argueing over a turbo/blower someone had made? I forget.anyways, back to the topic on hand. yes, this looks very similar to a vibe and a civic hatchback.
