ilquikgtx had his AWD lowered and instead of getting a 2" drop, it was more like 3" or a little more. From some of his posts I have read of his, he was selling those springs. I think he may have bought springs that were made for the base, but I'm not sure. Here is a pic of his Vibe at our Michigan Rally and it did sit really low.

well, if there's no down side, what, if any, are the upsides? I only want mods that make a difference.

I have a set of Hotchkis springs that I am waiting to get installed soon. Just need the time or money to do it.

To be the contrarian around here, I'm not going to lower my AWD at all. Two reasons: 1) I like the higher feeling than a regular car and the improved visibility I have with it and 2) one of the reasons for the AWD was to get through snow in the winter when I go up to Tahoe. Lowering the car would seem to interfere with getting over snow mounds.Just my US$0.02.

good points. the snow mounds, i won't really have to worry about. it sure is nice though to be able to look at the cavalier next to you and almost see their feet! and then smoke them! (to all non-smokers who might get offended ((see post titled "smoking")), i meant in a race)

have no problem's, i have about 4,000 miles on the car and i dropped it with only 50 miles on it . The only resaon i am selling those springs because i cant get up and down my driveway without scatching the rear bumper. I wish i can keep the drop because it looks great (my driveway is steep).I like way the car drives with the springs. i'm going to try a drop that is not 2 inches . I'm waiting for a 1 inch drop kit right now !!!!!!john

Anytime is good with me. Next week or weekend. I could meet you in Gurnsey, the strip mall across from Six Flags Great America. I would get totally lost driving around in Chicago. What set of springs are on your car in the MI Rally picture?
