First off b4 ne1 grips, I did do a search for previous topics w/o finding what I was looking 4, so............with that said:has ne1 tried replacing the dark plasitc cover over the light sensor in the dash w/ a clear plastic one? I would hope this would "fool" the sensor into thinking it is signifgantly lighter out and thus not turn the f_ing lights on & off each time I drive into the shade or the A-piller obstrucs the sun form the snesor?any thoughts /comments?

What are these grips that everyone is paranoid about? Do you all mean "gripes"?

I was just being a smartass. Sorry about any confusion or distress it may have caused. Meant in good humor only. I thought wrx-2-vibe meant gripe, but maybe meant grip to refer to some physical attack. Like please don't grip me by the neck and shake. I thought about this second option when I posted my reply. I thought we were reasonably civil, pointing out the previous threads and summarizing them that no one has identified a clear replacement sensor cover yet. Even more amazing was that we both posted effectively the same info simultaneously. Kinda scary, at least for me, I don't know how Scott felt about it Salsa!, it would be hard to enforce a "no abbreviations" rule or a "no typos" rule, because if it's too bothersome to create a valid post, then people will stay away. I bet some of the english abbreviations and chat lingo are tough for French speakers though.
