Re: (lumpcus)

Just for the record...it's not my Vibe. I'm a Grand Prix guy, I just thought the coating on the wheels was pretty badass, and that the dealer actually did a decent job matching everything together. It would have looked awesome with a set of aftermarket rims, but at that point, I don't think anybody ...

At a dealer across the highway from NUMMI. I dig the wheels too. I might try to call them back and find some info about where they had them done.

Two problems with the 03 Vibe

Two annoying things...1. 6 disc in dash CD changer can be heard while playing...kinda a whirring sound...this isn't right is it? It shouldn't be!!!2. The weatherstripping that runs along the roof in front of the roof rack is wavy going up and down now. What can be done about it?

Do the Vibe and Matrix use GM OBD2 port?

I bought one of these yesterdayhttp://users3.ev1.net/~chauvin555/LS1M/and was wondering if I could also use it on my Vibe. What kind of OBD2 port does the Vibe use? I hope it is the GM one. Does the Matrix use the same one as the Vibe (I would assume so)...Thanks

Want a new Perfect Fit Bra? Come inside

This is not a vendor situation, but if you want one, contact me and I can get you a new one in box minus a few bucks. Only one! Preferrably in the bay area around SF, but anywhere in the US should work just fine as well. AIM - abe98gtemail - abe98gt@hotmail.com

On supercharged Grand Prix's, an aftermarket intake, whether it is home-depot-in-the-fenderwell or a $200 CAI will bring out the whine quite a bit. If you have the supporting mods, put a smaller pulley on the supercharger, and it'll whine even louder.

My driveway is really steep too. It's better to let the clutch out fast and just drive up the driveway than it is to slip it all the way. It's okay for your engine to be pulling around 1300~1500 rpm in a low gear like first or reverse.

$3K is probably without installation. It's about right for the price of a supercharger. Superchargers for C5's start around 5K, a centrifugal kit for Grand Prix's goes for around 3~4K, so it's not too bad of a price.

I did see that other post in this forum about 04 pricing, and they mentioned a new option package, the protection package, which was side airbags ...
