Mercedes Vision SLR construction

A group of guys from Poland built a Mercedes SLR from an old circa-1980s Benz chassis. They took pics! http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=848531

yeah, thats sweet! makes me feel like a real wuss now. i wonder how much a new one costs? wonder how much they spent and how long it took them?

its amazing hwo fast stuff spreads around the internet now. That is one awesome project. Cost him about 75.000 euro, which is about 89-90K US dollars. Very unique. Specs are right on, even though it might look short, its just the pics.

YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
