Do the Vibe and Matrix use GM OBD2 port?

Post by abe98gt »

I bought one of these yesterdayhttp://users3.ev1.net/~chauvin555/LS1M/and was wondering if I could also use it on my Vibe. What kind of OBD2 port does the Vibe use? I hope it is the GM one. Does the Matrix use the same one as the Vibe (I would assume so)...Thanks

OBD2 ports are standard across the board.Any car built 96 and later should be compatible.
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!

Like raging said,it should work for generic codes. But the vibe doesn't have as much info available on a scanner compared to regular(non-toyota)GM cars. Some codes are flashed on the dash.(I think the one I dealt with was a cruise control problem and flashed codes for the cruise on the dash)
