Some cars have the top mounts for the struts attatched to the firewall where the firewall basically acts like a STB, like the Vibe. Other cars have the mounts further away. I had a car where the mounts were further away. On that car it definately made a difference. I haven't even considered a STB on...

FYI I called a dealer inquiring about the Supercharger and gave them the part number that was listed for the supercharger in another post. He made a phone call to Pontiac and they said the part number was discontinued, but the price that was in the system was $2995.

What part of the seat belt? up by the height adjuster? or?? I had a clicking noise coming from the adjuster area. There was a clear plastic piece that was part of the height adjustment track that was making the noise.

The technician tried to close the hood with the prop rod still in place. I've seen this on another vibe and they had really messed it up. The dealer is responsible for repairing this.

Choosing just the calipers doesn't solve your problem. The calipers actually cause the clearance problem since they stick out further than the rotors do. There are performance brake pads on the market, I've never used them so I can't comment as to how much it'll actually help. One cheap upgrade that...

I'm a big fan that the doors automatically lock again after about a minute or so after pressing the unlock and if you haven't opened a door. I don't know of any other GM cars do that. This way if you accidentaly unlock the vehicle you don't have to worry about the car sitting unlocked and vulnerable.

Changing to cross drilled or slotted rotors won't require larger wheels. Anything stock will work since you can't put larger diameter rotors on stock calipers. Instead of buying a windshield repair kit, have a professional do it. Just find one in the yellow pages. You have to do it soon to avoid it turning into a crack and also collecting contaminants. I've had it done twice for about $50 with good results. Once you couldn't tell at all. The other I waited...

Also make sure that the water removed from the air is draining properly. If the drain is plugged, water will be sitting in the HVAC system in your dash. This is something a dealer would probably have to do.

There is an electric motor that controls the recirs operation, maybe it's not working and it's stuck in recirc. You should be able to check to see if it's stuck in recirc yourself. After getting stuck in stop in go traffic for an hour I can definately say it feels better. What I posted above was a fairly accurate description. There is no rubber to be seen, only hard plastic.

From what I remember the shifter attached to the black plastic below it, then that attached to some white plastic that created a pivot with the metal cylindrical housing and then the 6 screws attached the metal piece to the plastic. What are you guys talking about? The whole XRS has been cancelled! Actually change your zip code and different options appear. I tried:55455: No XRS option at all!11103: No XRS auto option48067: Both XRS manual and AutoHope this clears things up. Not sure why they are limiting models to certain areas.
