Got word from a Toyota dealer that I'm on the waiting list for the supercharger that it'll be out next week. I assume it'll be the same for the Vibe. Good things come to those that wait!
He said he should have it in stock next week. If the price is reasonable, I want to have it installed asap! He doesn't have pricing info yet though but if I find out before you guys, I'll post it. On a sour note, it won't work with the TRD CAI. They have to reposition the throttle body and the CAI won't fit. I called TRD to confirm this and was told it probably won't but they may make some last minute changes. Not sure how much of a difference the CAI would make anyway but I was looking forward to the sound.
I work at a GM dealership and my parts manager said the same thing. He is getting some shipped next week. I asked him about pricing and he's not sure, but rumor has it that the dealer cost is about $3000. Of course then they have to jack up the price to sell to a customer. In my opnion, that's way too f@#king much.
FYI I called a dealer inquiring about the Supercharger and gave them the part number that was listed for the supercharger in another post. He made a phone call to Pontiac and they said the part number was discontinued, but the price that was in the system was $2995.
Vibe GT, TRD springs, Progress bar, STB, Unichip, Borbet E 16x7.5, 225/50 Bridgestone RE750, beefed up grounds and battery bypass capacitors(had em laying around)
Would be nice to get that 0% finance. I bet a dealer could get 5 or 6 % if they're creative. It would only be a meal a month difference even at $4k. I think if you have to have an auto this is probably the best Vibe combo.

quote:Awesome!!! Is your dealer having you pay the lump sum at the completion of the install or will they let you finance it?It's a lump sum. Probably the only way to finance it through a dealer is to get it installed before the car is purchased. Total cost with installation will be $3100.00.
Check out ebayThis are afor Corolla and Matrix SChttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33741&item=2429770006http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33741&item=2429770041
Before any of us "Vibers" bid on the trd blowers on e-bay, I believe I remember hearing at the Michigan meet that the Vibe's and Matrix's will not be interchangeable because the computer is different in the two. I may be wrong, but I think I remember hearing this.
quote:I work at a GM dealership and my parts manager said...Devlop, Could you find the part number(s) for the Vibe's blower kit? Are they listing a D.I.Y. kit, or just one for the dealer to install? Thanks for any info you can get.Carl

In my opnion, that's way too f@#king much.I thought it was funny when gm said the SC should be "well below" $3000. I guess they would consider $2999.99 a lot cheaper......and I was hoping it would be cheaper than turbo.

So I was talking to a guy at the dealer tonight, and he said that the S/C is available for an auto tranny only? I didn't think that sounded right, but I kept my mouth shut...anyone care to give me the accurate info? It doesn't matter either way -- I have an auto, but have no plans to get it...but am just curious...
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
Don't know about the GM iteration, but at toyotaparts4u.com, they list both a TRD SC for MT and TRD SC for AT. Same price, but maybe there's a difference.
