ThAT DEFINITLY SOUNDS LIKE IT WAS BEING USED AS A "DEMO". 800 miles is "NOT" a common "NEW" car mileage. Did yo buy your Vibe at the Pontiac dealer near the Health First Holmes medical center??? I live in Melbourne Beach.

$500.00 rebate is now gone!!!!

I just came from the GM regional incentive map and punched in N/E and also S/E and the updated 2006 board shows $O (zero) for the Vibe. They must have removed the 500.00 incentive 0n 11/14 as shown as the latest posted map.

Wow, another follow-up to my follow-up. I just received word from CarMan at the Edmunds forum thet GM has "REDUCED the $1000.00 Conquest incentive to $500.00. Evidently due to the fact of the demand for smaller, good gas mileage Vibes. What a bummer.

That might be true; however, if that "BUG' has been on there for a long period of time, it will still damage your paint...WD40 or No WD40.The best scenario is to keep the car waxed and clean those "buggers" off as soon as possible. That goes for bird "poopers' as well.

I was toild by a tire man several years ago that the aerosol tire repair can does shoot some sort of gunk into the tire which helps seal the whatever and of course fills the tire with air; however, he said that the "gunky" stuff can then cause your tire to really be 'out of balance". ...

Some storage areas even have "climate cotrolled space" which is great as it keeps the "humidity and temperature" at a certain level. I know a lot of the "Classic" cars are stored or kept this way. I know, I know, the Vibe isn't a classic...but we do like to think of it ...

I guess that as long as the weather is "warm" and you can "stretch" the vinyl to the snaps, it should be AOK. Colder weather might be a bit of a hassle; however, I still think you did a great job and the pictures were also GREAT.
