Re: Vibe GTR with V6.... (Pablo1669)

I'd have to agree with PW. The Toyota engine/transmission was the main reason I considered buying the Vibe. Otherwise, I would have just leased the el cheapo Cavalier/Sunfire for 3 years until I saved up enough to buy a Honda/Toyota. I still haven't heard great things about GM quality in the past, b...

I think the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Calgary (I could be wrong, I'm going off on memory here) would give you a $500 donation credit if you gave them a used car. Assuming that the school gives you a $500 credit and you were taxed at a combined Fed/Ont tax rate of 37%, you would get ~$185 back...

I agree with Poopypants. The way I keep the moisture down in the car is to not only kick the snow off my boots, but I also keep the air blowing down on the floor mats as much as I can. The high air ciculation rate will evaporate the water/snow, and increasure the humidity, but the circulation should...

One more thing to keep in mind is that if it's cold outside, you SHOULDN'T use your cruise control. That's right.... In the winter, the floor mats tend to get soaked (snow on your shoes), and that increases the humidity inside the Vibe. Given the miniscule savings, and the potential for engine damage, which is very expensive, stick with the 91 octane.Anyways, here's my mileage ch...
