What Commercials Do You Hate?

I don't know about anyone else, but there are two commercials on TV that are so overplayed, they are REALLY starting to (removed) me off.They are:Chevy's "Money" ad...I swear if I hear that irritating song one more time I'm gonna go postal. And Chevy ads always (removed) me off anyway. They're annoying, repetitive, and flat our bad.Ford's "Any Way You Want It" ad. It's an insult to that song, and damn, Ford needs to stop buying mainstream music and hire an agency to create something ORIGINAL for once...How about everyone else? What commercials do you hate, or drive you nuts?

Let me add one more to that:Clarinex. If I hear the B-52s' "Roam" one more time, I swear, it will not be pretty...

all of the drug company commercials. who else but your doctor knows what heartburn nasal prescription pain reliever you really need. and the company only increases the price of the prescription drug to pay for the commercial.

I hate that one, I think it's a Chevy commercial, where they sing some lame song about baseball and apple pie or something. It drives me insane! The song blows and it so obnoxiously beats you over the head with with patriotism that it makes me want to move to Canada.

I know this thread is over a year old, but I'll add my two cents:I am driven crazy by any commercial showing two people having a conversation and eating at the same time. If I want to hear people chewing their food, I'll have dinner with my kids.

ok, first of all, the oven mitt sucks!!also, has anyone seen that commercial with the foreign guy sitting in a nest, when, all of a sudden, a big bird comes by and feeds him some skittles? god that is stupid!how about plugging the leak in a boat w/a tampon? good commercial idea dingalings! who is the big dog in the corporate office saying, "that is a good idea, lets put it in the works"jesus cristo!(ps i am offically drunkenvibe right now)

Totally with you there Reynoma! Perfect example would be the Kix commercials (do they still exist?). I guess I could add chewing with open mouths and talking with full mouths to the list of pet peeves as well...

I hate the commercial, I think its for oil of olay, where she's being interviewed by a lie detector technician and she says "no I'm only 28" and then giggles and looks at him from under her eyelashes, meanwhile the lie detector couldn't tell. That ad just irks me.

Yeah I know that one Sputnik,the other lie detector one that annoys me is the Midas one "Will my car be ready ontime? Will you see me services I don't need? Do you like broadway shows?"A short lived but annoying commercial was the Pontiac GTO one where it pulls up to the light and waits until another GTO comes up beside it to race off the line, guess that displayed the wrong message...but I hate pretty much all commercials in general. I don't like my shows being interupted...

The Subway commercial with the "one of these things is not like the others" song is driving me insane.And I can't stand the drug commercials where they don't tell you what it does....just tell you to ask your doctor. For the longest time when Claritin and Allegra first came out, no one knew what they did. It wasn't apparent in the commercial, and they didn't tell you.

I'm not sure, but I think in Canada that drug companies can't advertise what the drug is for.

They can in the U.S., but then they have to tell you the side effects, so in the end, they just don't tell you at all.

Hmm... I don't know if I'm qualified to post on this thread, since I can honestly say my television has been off for weeks now. I did catch a little TWC while in OH, but other than that, I've remained far away from the tele... I also haven't heard any on the radio either, in the car it's either one of the local public radio stations or a disc. That's it. Commercials are evil... Isn't it horrible how something can be burned into your mind with such ease? A couple years later, I STILL see that chick in the hat twitching about in the passenger's seat of that Eclipse. Ugh!And that horrid jingle that Ford recently used... You know, the "i luv blah blah blah, blah blah blah, blah blah blah... and blah.... and i luuuuuv yew tuuuu!".... Yikes!!!!And man, don't get me started on those spots from the drug companies... About the only commercials I think I've ever liked were those where the company would essentially make fun of themselves...

probably a sign that I have a mental defect, but I actually remembered this thread because of raging's comment about really liking the mitt, so I guess he is a Romney supporter this election.Anyway, the commercial that really bugs me is one for "arts", has a family sitting around the table, Dad asks son "What did you do at school today" and the kid lays out his boring day, consisting of one class, study hall, lunch and recess. Stupid commercial, and it seems to be on all the time.

Still any and all drug commercials, especially the one where the doctor is walking around with students in white coats on campus like he is giving an open quiz.The new Bud commercials, not funny, I like funny.Any chevy commercials with that stupid guy who used to play football and now does commentating and Radio Shaq commercials.The new Kia commercial with the guy doin the Maniac song.The Kia Rondo commercial with all the raindbows, way to let us know what market segment your looking for.
