My car will be there, but I am also in the group organizing the show...I drive a 2001 Ford Focus S2 ZX3. There is a small quarter car wash right accross the street from the GVSU main entrance.

Last year we had about 30 cars and 20 motorcycles. This year, as of four weeks before the show, we already had over 30 cars registered. And there are always a bunch who show up the day of. Snowy Vibe

Just snapped some pictures of the snow covered vibe this weekend on our snowmobiling trip...thought I'd share. We got about 6 inches of snow at our cottage, plus being plowed in.

It was about -5 F here last night. This morning, took the Vibe 3 miles to warm up instead of the usual 1 mile. Oh, and don't ever roll down your windows when its cold, they'll get stuck...lol.

I'm getting my battery replaced by the dealer on Tuesday. It would barely turn over yesterday in the cold. I'm not sure that the dealer would normally do the replacement, but my dad works there so.....

If you'd want the covers to be pretty tight on the seats, it would be pretty hard to make them. However, if you just wanted some loose fitting covers it probably wouldn't be that difficult.

Drifting is always fun....you usually get about 4 days worth after every snow storm becuase the detroit area seems to have about 6 snowplows for 3 counties.

I am from the east side of the state, but am currently at GVSU. I must say that I am suprised by the amount of Vibes around here, seems there are almost as many as near Detroit. However I have also noticed that most of the Vibes around here seem to be the cheaper models, with the grey plastic fender...

I fixed my lack of bass. I put in an Aiwa HU and four Polk speakers. Now I can plug the roady directly into the front of the Aiwa with a mini to mini cable. Sounds great now. When I had the FM modulator it really sucked. Now I have a great system all around.

If I were you I would get a gas can for the time being. Fill that up and then pour it into the Vibe. A gas can can't shut off! You'd probably have to fill the can up a few times, but it would still be faster than 20 mintues!

Question for those who change their own oil

For those of you who change their own oil: I have never done it before, but was thinking of doing it myself next time. What do you do about lubing the chasis? That is supposed to be done every other oil change at least, according to the manual. Is that something easily accomplished?
