Some students at Grand Valley State University, including myself, are having a car show on April 8th. If you would like more information or would like to register your car, visit http://www.gvsucarshow.com.
Last year we had about 30 cars and 20 motorcycles. This year, as of four weeks before the show, we already had over 30 cars registered. And there are always a bunch who show up the day of. If you want to show your car, just make sure you sign up so we know how many to plan for.The show is right on the GVSU campus and if anyone needs directions, just let me know.
Ok, I'm almost positively going. Are you registering your car? What are you driving btw? I will probably be registering mine although it needs work lol. It's a 2 hour drive so I hope there is a quarter car wash over there!
My car will be there, but I am also in the group organizing the show...I drive a 2001 Ford Focus S2 ZX3. There is a small quarter car wash right accross the street from the GVSU main entrance.
Cool beans. Is there a price to pay to be in? I might be getting a hotel room or just staying with my friend.BTW, hopefully the weather is nice...friggin snowed here today really hard.
If you have directions to Grand Valley, the car wash is right accross the road from the main entrance to campus. To get to the main campus from your area, you take 96 to Grand Rapids, then get on I-196 west, get off at the lake michigan drive exit (m-45) and drive for about 12 miles. You will see the signs for the GVSU main entrance on m-45. The entrance will be on your left. The car wash is right accross the road, on the right side. It's a small place located adjacent to a repair shop. Hope this helps.
