Re: Vibe 2009 & rear window. (PopeyeFAFL)

I saw a 2008 and 2009 Vibe side by side at my Pontiac dealer a few days ago. I have to admit not sure if I like the new hatch on the 2009, it appears to be "stuck on" as an afterthought. The older Vibe's hatch integrates much more smoothly and looks like a better finish, plus the bonus of ...

A couple of months back I bought the Trico curved pressure blade. So far it is the best replacement wiper blade I have ever bought. It adheres well to the glass and doesn't chatter or lift off like some other blades, especially in high winds. Also streaking is non-exsistent.

With all the speculation going on who knows what will happen. I think the Vibe has its place in the market and it would be a shame to discontinue a successful car as this. I now have 96,000km on my Vibe and it gets its regular 5000km checkups. The engine is flawless and mileage excellent. I don't think you can go wrong with 115k on it. If the mechanics gave it a clean bill of health you're good to go. Good luck.

This may sound strange coming from Canada but the Vibe, when I bought mine, was actually more expensive than the Matrix by about $1200 Cdn. I still went with the Vibe because I liked the sytling better and at the time you couldn't get the sunroof option on the Matrix. In Calgary, Matrix is outselling...

That is why the manual states to power wash underneath the Vibe at least twice a year. I think that will combat some of the corrosion that takes place underneath the car.
