I met a Matrix owner who had one on at the Toronto meet, some lady scuffed the front side with her car. He brought it back and had a new one point on, cost much less than having the front repainted....so to make it short yes you can.I am also looking into this, I have noticed a few stone chips myself on the Vibe.

Absolutely, the 3m stuff can be easily removed. I have it on my Vibe and the way the car chips I'm glad I have it. I have part of the hood and lower nose done. I have had the hood part for about a year now and so far no weathering. My only regret is that I didn't get the lower nose done when I first bought the car. I had a number of chips that I had to touch up before the 3M stuff was put on. Unfortunately, you can see the touch up marks through the 3M film. To make matters worse I accidently had my garage door come down on the lower nose of the car, shortly after having the film applied. It saved the paint from further damage but the film is now slightly ripped. I'm thinking when I get the film reapplied I'm going to get the front lower portion of the car repainted first. That will be a Spring project.
