finally had a peek under the vibe

got the floor jack out today and had a peek under the vibe. shes almost a year old in october. i did notice quite a bit of corosion on the control arms for a car being so new. you guys/ girls may want to rust/check/krown that area for i did today. i am quite pleased with the amount of factory applied protection along the entire frame rails/ "nook and crannies" that gm/toyota had applied. i plan on keeping my vibe for the long haul so im taking precautions. the motor mounts seem to have a little more corrosion than an 11 month old car should also

That is why the manual states to power wash underneath the Vibe at least twice a year. I think that will combat some of the corrosion that takes place underneath the car. I have done it about three times so far with my Vibe being 8 months old.I'm not suggesting you have not done that but I thought other members should be aware of this.
