Yep it's found at most grocery and discount stores. I actually have a free sample I got and keep in my glove compartment. You do have to reapply every few weeks to month. But it really works.

Full spare with rim?

Since I had the luck of getting another flat tire, it started me thinking (uh oh, lol). My last vehicle was a 2001 GMC Jimmy, it had a full spare with matching rim. Very nice to have so that you don't have to use a donut. Having one for the Vibe would encounter a few problems. Storage? Is the bin wh...

I've got to vent....

I get home from work today and walk into the garage, and bam, there's the Vibe with the second flat tire in the last 2 months. I took my winter vehicle (Ford f150) due to possible snow storm so thank goodness I didn't drive it today. I know that others have had worse luck, but I've had 2 flats since...

I would agree with the last couple of posts and complain about the marked car and entrapment. However, that is just the way things go here in Illinois. I have heard numerous times about people not knowing that it is the state police Mustang and being foolish enough to accept the challenge offered by...

Sorry about your ticket, that sucks. I hate to be blunt, but racing is a stupid idea and it spells trouble. I see it on the news every once in a while about racers crashing and killing themselves or others, especially people not even involved in the action. The main plain tag one that I have seen is...

Re: half of display on head unit dim (spearo2)

My brother has a 2004 Vibe with about 36K miles on it and the same thing happened. The dealer replaced the head unit for free because it was under warranty. Hopefully yours is too. Kind of crazy thing, I test drove a 2005 with 35K miles and it had the same problem. Hmm makes me think that there is a...

Nice pics and great car! Also nice to see another IL vibe on here that is relatively nearby, even though it's in ISU country j/k! I'm in Macomb in WIU land. Enjoy your vibe! Sounds like a great car with only 11K miles and the spoilers.

$1.98 in Havana, IL, cheapest I've seen it so far. My mom saw it for $2.06 in Burlington, IA a few days ago. I remember the summer of 2000 when I was complaining about how prices had reached $2. How times have changed, now I am completely thrilled and bragging to get gas for about $2.

Sorry to hear about your bug problems. I have used a spray on bug & tar remover that I got at Walmart and it worked real well on both. So maybe try that. I know that I had some stubborn bug guts on my vibe last time I washed and tried a clay bar system and it seemed to work pretty well. The othe...

A friend nicknamed my Vibe the Vibe-rator (except of course he left off the - ) I prefer the hyphen, he doesn't, oh well it's my car. I've only had mine about 3 weeks, so still haven't come up with a pet name for it.

I am looking for a plastic or similar composition license plate cover, to cover my plate on the front. I live in IL and we only get new plates once in a blue moon, or if we change plates. Yeah, another question. I have the 6 disc cd changer and love it, is there any way that I could keep the 6 disc and mount the navigation elsewhere? I don't know how it is connected and can't find much info on the internet on the system that was used in the Vibe.

I did a little more research and found that in IL we can have a 6" strip on windshield. I was sure that the dealer said that was illegal. Here's a chart that I found with a listing of the state laws reguarding tinting. Hope this helps!http://www.doityourselftint.com/tintlaws.html
