Yeah! 600 x 200...I got 50 pixels to spare (or 3000, depending on your math)

Let's not forget that just because you have a huge monitor and a video card capable of displaying extreme resolutions doesn't mean everyone who visits the site will have that capability as well. Most probably do not. Here right now, this monitor will not go above 1024x768. I still personally find the 600 width to be excessive. The 200 height is fine. If the window isn't maximized, all you're seeing is someone's signature. The only resolution I'm comfortably able to view this site with the signatures on is on my Mac at home which is something like 1280x1024 on my LCD. Anything less and I have to turn off the sigs.

On some machines with lower resolution settings, that would fill the entire screen!

I see you're using Photobucket... If you log into your album, you can do it the quick and dirty albeit unprecise way there:Find the picture in your album, then click the edit button. If it is 640x480 originally, you'll either want 25% which will give you a 160x120 image, or 50% which is 320x240. Once you've clicked the percentage you want to resize, you can click the Resize button.I've resized your image for you though... This is scaled down to 267x200. The file size also dropped from 111 kb to 31 kb too, good deal. I don't know if you use Windows what to tell you to use as far as applications go, I only use Windows at work so I don't have any recommendations. I use The GIMP for working with all of my images, it's a great, free, open source tool that works wonderfully on many platforms, but it's a little out there and isn't the easiest to use. Although I can figure it out better I can Photoshop. Hopefully someone can chime in with some suggestions on what you can use if you want to try this schtuff yourself.

Quote, originally posted by NascarXprt »Ha! mine is 512 X 384 pix.! i barely made it..... i think....Nope, you didn't. You're 384 high and 250 is the max. Taking into account aspect ratio and such, a resize to a minimum of 333x250 is what you need for a pic of those dimensions.

ColonelPanic resized yours for you, and it is attached to his reply above. So all you need to do is just change the image to that one and you should be good.

dude, you're not implying that those who don't like them turn them off are you? come on, what's next? asking people to not read topics they don't like? i shrunk mine down to be within specs, but it still looks big on screen, what's up with that?
