I saw this on ebay:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...QrdZ1And was wondering if anyone has done this and what kind of luck you had with it. I am debating between this and getting a bug/stone deflector or maybe both because this didn't seem too expensive. Thanks for your help!
there quite a few members here that have the "Clear Bra" on there vibes and/ or other cars. but youll have to wait for a better reply than mine. but they do recomend this clear bra for the car. GL
I think TRDvibe (hope) tried to install this and said it was really hard. I was looking into them a while ago, but theres already lots of dings from rocks on the hwy :/
clear bra all the way! the stone/bug deflectors are jokes! i had one for almost 2 yrs and it worked as well as not having it there. as for installing the clear bra... that is a different story. if it's just the hood then that's a cinch! if it's the full front then have a pro install it. well worth every penny!Mav has the hood done and it's pretty much done very well. I installed the whole front end kit on my Legacy last year but then had a front end collision. I had it redone by a pro and it looks fantastic!!!!
Yes, I have the 3M Clear Bra from the Dealer when I bought my car almost 2 years ago. It has performed beautifully. No chips, has not peeled, faded or cracked. Still look just like the day the dealer installed it. Here is a pic of mine (the arrows point to where the bra ends) It is barely noticeable:
