funny thing is all those spoilers are stock. the 2 big ones are STi, the other is stock WRX.wrx/sti dont get nearly enough respect... putting down ~210awhp stock is impressive out of 2.0L, and with less than $1000 in mods like up/down pipes and engine management you're looking at 250-260awhp, reliab...

either my car is a lot lighter or yours is heavier. i figured you had stechs... looks closer to that.i held up a 18 with a 245/40 tire on it (about 1" taller) and it looked like i might have a more pronounced wheel gap.everything looks better in 18 though.hows your ride quality? busted any rims?

pics request: 18s on prokit drop

i'm stuck. i LOVE my eibach prokit. michigan is just too harsh year round to drop down to s-techs, and the prokit gives me an in-between ride height with stock comfort.problem is...17s or 18s. i'm sure the 17s are an acceptable look, but given the vibe body, 18s look so much better... but will they ...

tire noise/howl/groan (stock contis)

my vibe is at about 13k miles, stock conti tires.something (sounds like from front both sides) is developing a progressively worse drone/howl/super high frequency vibration.at about 15-40mph you notice it most, when normal road noise is not a factor. sounds like i have mud bogger tires on, only not ...

Threw on some eibachs yesterday, thought i'd share my impressions.INSTALLATION: straight forward, a little common sense, an impact wrench, spring compressor, and hand tools make it a pretty easy job if you have some wrenching skills. took 3 hours by myself, prolly 1 1/2 hours of that spent compressi...

to everyone with FWD and aftermarket RSB...notice any upset in the handling (tight rear, slidage, etc)??i've been tossing around the idea... most of my knowledgeable wrenching aids and an SCCA buddy have said a RSB really needs to be matched with a paired FSB, or the handling will suffer greatly.TRU...

best practice is to have your tongue weight be 10% of the gross trailer weight.500lb sled + 200lb trailer = 70lb tongue weight. no different than a fat chick in the backseat

bump guard = rubber stop so when your car bottoms out hard you wont snip the end of your tongue off from the jolt of metal on metal.you wont need to on a moderade drop (TRD, Eibach) but more than 1.5" means your suspension travel is moved closer to bottomed out; instead of bottoming out with lo...
