dont listen to gm they dont want you to have any fun!! the s/c needs the cai!!! the only bad thging that can happen is the first cat melting down from high combustion temps. just get a water inj. kit along with it.
its a dynotunesales kit. uh, i still want it but the wife thinks the motor will die, and i never told her i orderd it untill she opend the package, it might be sold so if anyone wants it hurry,
when you removed or replaced the batery terminals carefull not to touch the wrench to the cai while tightening the + terminal cuz you can fry the sensor!!
buy a toyota s/c they are going for cheep, i installed one on a matrix and a gm on mine of course and they are identical!! unless your worried about warenty , but what i would do is after installing the toyota kit is to get all the gm c.a.r.b stickers and what not and use them to trick gm techs into...

first 1 psi is not significant enough to create a lean condition, trd put enough fule in to the programming of the s/c computer that i bet i could add 2 more psi before id have to worry about running lean, besides i have a air fule ratio guage, and yes it is not a wideband but under full throttle op...
i do have water/meth injection. the pully only produces 1 psi over stock, in my case its 10 psi, larry put his on and is getting 8 psi but he smokes me regardless, he has less backpressure from headder/midpipe in turn less boost pressure.
it is pealing, the layer is super thin, kinda like a clear coat. i use car wash liquid to wash nothing fancy, i did notice similar looking problem here;http://forums.genvibe.com/zero...1.jpg that link doesnot work, but it is from nsimkins, his reply to"my vibe has to many problems"
i was waxing my car and i noticed that the U.V. coating that keeps the headlights from yellowing was pealing, for a few months i noticed what looked like spiderweb looking crakling on the surface, it turns out that was the start of the pealing process. anyone else with the same? im gonna take it to ...
