I usually go to ACE hardware; lowes never has what I need. I'd ask the dealer but this is the same dealer that told me that my transmission took 24 quarts of oil. I told them that was 6 gallons, and they insisted it had a big case. I wouldn't trust them to wipe my windows!

I think you're right. It looks like it fits into the aluminum rail where the cover slides (the one that looks like the headliner). That's not what's causing the rattle though..I have no idea why that noise is there.

I was under the impression that if you started it remotely..once you got in the car and took it out of park, if the key wasn't in..the car died and wouldn't start again without the key. Otherwise, what's to prevent someone from snagging your code and just driving off with your car?
