yeah, i'm kind of lucky. i get to drive my work truck home and not use my car to drive back and forth. i checked around the engine compartment and didn't see any fluid orther than the drips form the water pump.

well, i just crawled out from under my vibe to see what was leaking. i thought it might be the tranny since i just recently had the oil changed at the Pontiac dealer. i thought maybe they loosened the wrong bolt. to my suprise i found a drop coming out of the water pump below the pulley. the car is ...

I used Krylon Fusion Paint for Plastic on the plastic engine parts.worked great. the paint bonds with the plastic.

thanks for the 411. i just got a sponsor kit in the mail last week for them. i was contemplating signing up. i guess i'll wait awhile or look for another sponsor. the $90 will go for something else now.

my wife had a 94 sunbird se wit 3.1 and a 5 speed that i ended up driving for a while. it was a great little car. only probs is had was the alt. kept goin bad. other than some rust great little car. traded it in with 90k miles on it.

sometimes when i'm runnin' hard i've missed 3rd gear,and sometimes when not paying attention i've missed 5th , but that's user error.

sounds good in theory. i'll have to give it a try. always looking for cheap ways to increase horsepower. and free sounds pretty cheap to me. one question though. does the hood rattle at all with the seal missing?

10,500 miles and the only thing replaced was the rubber molding around the driver's window. Knock on wood nothing else has gone wrong.

we had a mouse or something living in between the runners of the intake on my wife's old sunbird. it chewed the positve wire on the altenator. not a good thing! it almost fried the computer.

my vote is for the moons and tunes. you won't be sorry.as for the wheels you can pick up a set later and probably cheaper than the option. aftermarket sunroof could equal distater.

i agree. i bought my vibe with 175 miles on it. i've put 7,500 more miles on it so far. knock on wood, no probs. if the car was titled already then you're probably gonna get stuck with used car rates for financing.

mine to, just noticed last week. it sqeaks when i push it in and when i let it out. only have 7,600 miles on it. when the weather gets better i'll have to try the wd-40 or the silicone spray.

i've used castrol gtx in all my vehicles with no probs. had a '88 daytona with 100,000 mi. a '92 daytona with 150,000 mi. and my wife's '94 sunbird with 90,000 mi. i try to change the between 3,000 and 5,000 mi. i also use fram oil filters.

looks like you had to cut the exhust pipe to get it on. did you have to cut it and was it difficult?

I wash mine once a week in the winter. luckily i have a heated garage at work. in the summer i try to wash once a week. if not i dust it with a car duster every other day. keeps it shinin'.

I've had a Typhoon kit on my GT for about 5,000 miles now. I noticed power gains right away and it sounds great when lift kicks in.Not sure if gas milage increased, but not to worried about that. Knock on wood, no cel yet. Now working on getting a Borla exhaust for it.

6 month's, 7000 mi. no clutch probs. I had a little bit of smell in the begining. Probably from figuring the 6-speed tranny. No smell's recently.
