hey ive seen that kinda mess, when ive taken my dash out afew times. can yank the top off in about 5-7 minutes now. try putting the invertor under the dash behind the cluster. i had a jbl amp hanging off the cross bar brace, works good since we don't have lots of room for stuff like that.

i installed 12 strobes on my matrix, 2 in each headlamp (you will need to crack these open to clean out) 2 in the rear tail lamp housings and 2 in the back window, 2 behind the lower grille.

toyota has 2 different coolants, long life red and super long life, which is also red. toyota has always had red coolant for as long as i have been working at dealers. volvo uses blue colored coolant.

the 05 matrix just got this, and we have to make sure its programed correct. try, sitting in the car, close doors, but make sure the dimmer switch is turned on, then turn car to the on position, and then push/hold the lock button down, the dome lights will flash, if you want the doors to lock/unlock...

your going to need a press to get it apart and to press everything in. also when you remove the axle nut, MAKE SURE you get the one side that is notched down on the axle up all the way or your going to F@#k you axle up.i know i thought i had a couple of those chesialed (SP?) up and screwed the axle ...

sounds like your looking at the wrong drain, it's a white petcock, just turn it open.

have you done any type of electrical mods to the car??, and when the fuse blows, did you do anything, step on the brake?, shift into reverse?? (auto). anything.... try to think, reason i ask we had a solara in the shop, where the battery would go dead and the customer was replacing the gauge fuse......

guys i am a toyota tech so i work on these engines every day. its not the freeze plugs. its a drain that you need a 10 mm wrench, socket, whatever both engines it might be hard to see, but they are there.

1zz engine on the back side of engine, bout mid way up, between 3 and 4 cylinders... 2zz on the front of the engine, above the oil filter, maybe off to either side.

sounds like its the same as the corollas' same across the board for these 2 models at toyota so the vibe will be the same, if the window is tight to the regulator and the reg. is tight to the door. no problem, does it on every car....

well, the 2zz engine valves will take time, they use "puck" type shims. 1st, take the reading/measurement then check the R/M see if it falls in spec, if not do a little formula and order your new shim, do that till ALL valves are adjusted. SOUNDS FUN NOW HUH EVERYONE??? i myself have never...
