Rattling windows when the window is down a few inches? Any fixes?

My problem, as described in the title has to do with my windows rattling when I have them down a few inches. Smooth pavement they are fine but any type of bumps or rough roads cause them to rattle and it get extremely annoying. Has anyone had their car into the dealership for this? Anyone attempted to fix it on their own? Or am I the only one with this problem? Thanks for all input.Ed

power or manual? my manual windows rattle, haven't decided how to fix it yet.

Mine are power. People have posted about this in the past -- I had mine at the dealership for it --- but what ever they did -- If anything -- did not help.I'd like to try to fix it myself -- I was just hoping that someone might already had a fix outlined from the dealership or had done something themselves.Ed

I looked and could find a number of posts about windows rattling when they are slightly open, but I didn't see where anyone actually fixed the problem.

Can this be another recall or TSB? My wife and I have noticed this as well.....looks like another trip to the dealer

I noticed it as well this past week. Not good, it may be a design flaw.

sounds like its the same as the corollas' same across the board for these 2 models at toyota so the vibe will be the same, if the window is tight to the regulator and the reg. is tight to the door. no problem, does it on every car....

my driver side is terrible. when I roll it all the way up it sounds like the window is going to crack when it gets to the end and the same on the down stroke to. I am going to the dealer for some tranny issues so i will let you knwo what hapenslater

My manual windows don't rattle. I can move them up and down a tiny bit but they seem to be in the sldes tight enough that they don't rattle, on rough roads or at highway speeds

just thought that Iwould let you all know that I took mine to the dealer and they are going to put in a new window regulator that is the cause supposedly.

regulator is changed and there are no more problems with the windows making those hellascious noises anymore
