I was really picky about what I wanted, so I factory ordered mine. Good thing about living in the Bay Area is that it only took a month for me to get it (it's only about an hour drive from the factory to my dealer). However, when my dealer put in the order, they accidently submitted it twice, so ther...

Not Many Vibes in NJ

Just got back from a 10-day vacation in NJ. Most of the time was spent at my mom's place in Atlantic County, but there were side trips to the DC area, North Jersey, and NYC.During the whole trip, I saw 2 (count 'em, 2) Vibes. One at the Atlantic City airport, and one at the Acme parking lot in Mays ...

A bit of qualification on my "I would never get them" reply...I wouldn't get them for the WINDOWS, but I'm considering one for the moonroof. Dunno if that's the same thing or not.

If you're talking about the cargo box, I have one. It's great to use when you're grocery shopping so your bags don't roll around all over the back and things falling out of the bags, etc.You can get it from a dealer separately, or from a site like http://www.1stpontiacparts.com/.

Last week, some idiot decided at the last second he wanted to get onto the freeway from the left lane, thereby cutting me off (he was on a cell phone, of course, but that's a gripe for a different thread). In my anger, I slammed down on the horn.I swear he giggled.

So I go take my Vibe to get washed yesterday, and not some $4 gas station job, either. I take it to a real full-service car wash where they clean your windows and vac your carpets and everything.Between there and home, a bird nails me on the windshield! But considering I had the moonroof open at the ...

I just noticed that Pontiac updated its Vibe site to the '04s. Not exactly sure when this happened, since I haven't felt the need to check their site everyday since I got mine. I also got M&T on my Vibe, which was a factory order. The sound system in my Mazda Crapégé was so horrible, that a transistor radio circa the 1950's would have sounded good to my ears. It was staticky, and I don't think the people who installed the aftermarket head unit did a very good job, bec...

To be the contrarian around here, I'm not going to lower my AWD at all. Two reasons: 1) I like the higher feeling than a regular car and the improved visibility I have with it and 2) one of the reasons for the AWD was to get through snow in the winter when I go up to Tahoe. Lowering the car would se...
