Re: Lowering springs (Platinum76)

I have B&G springs, and i love them, they ride great, plus when i park next to another vibe the top of my side mirror sits under the bottom of theres. cant wait to buy the B&G coilovers!

Re: (A Psycho Martyr)

i think you should sell me one i dig it, i like the thought of stiffening up the chassis, and also having a little bottoming out support, i constantly have my frame rails touching driveways, or something. I would be down to pay for this with the understanding that you are in no way liable. if you de...

How low are you?

So im used to all my vws being dropped, typically with an H&R 60/40 cup kit, how ever the one i never get rid of is my FK 85/70 kit, or my pantec coilovers. Ive noticed that there arent that many vibes that are slammed, most have a mild drop, however there is the one on bags. Mine is lowered rig...

Re: (ramenboy...)

Ive had 2 bagged toyotas and had one of my bags blow out on me on I5 slammed me into the water barrels at 55, not really wanting to have that happen again especially to a car my kids ride in. If they were never in the vibe then i would totally bag it!

Re: (06pvibe)

Ya i have spare front lips in my closet because i lose them alot, the worst part is how low the oil pans sit on them. I still cant seem to find a picture of a vibe with wide wheels or even ones that are very low, mines dropped 2 inches right now, but i would like to get some coil overs and dump it

Re: coil packs (djb383)

oh see i didnt know that, i just assumed that they were individual coil packs, I dont know much about my vibe, as far as engine wise. I bought it for 2000 from my mom so i figured if it was like the VR6 those coil packs die all the time, and its cheaper to get the MSD ones that are for the LS motor

Re: Come outta the closet?? (BlueCrush)

thanks, the reason for the bigger wheels in winter, is that the TSW's have clear coat pealing and some lip rash from the nasty railroad tracks and pot holes so i decided to just buy non directional tires with a good tread pattern and we run them when the weathers bad, my ASAs are in excellent shape ...

Come outta the closet??

OK so not really but it sounded good... Ive been lurking around here since about 2006 when i randomly came across genvibe while looking for parts for my moms vibe. As of today my mom gave me her vibe and she bought a new car so i figured i would officially sign up for a screenname and join the forum...
