2009-2010 Rear Wiper Cap

The cap for the rear wiper went missing on my 09 Vibe. I was getting my oil changed at the local Toyota dealer and decided to order one for a 09 Matrix. Guess what? It fits.

Aftermarket horns installed today. I like the tone of this horn much better. It is hard to tell but I'd say it is at least twice as loud. I bought it on eBay for about $80 with the wiring harness. The install was pretty straight forward. The oem wire uses a blase connector so I can easily revert bac...

Do 09 Matrix heated mirrors fit 09 Vibe?

I have been thinking of installing heated mirrors in the Vibe. Apparently this was an option on the Matrix. Does anyone know if the mirrors are interchangeable on our vehicles? I'd rather replace the whole mirror assembly than take it apart and glue on an element. Amazon does not think it would fit ...

Re: 09-10 Vibe Part Number (Need Equivalent Toyota#)

I installed Camry lights on my 09 Vibe. They connected to wiring harness and to the bumper just fine. They don't fit 100% flush as the OEM Vibe fog lights though. There is a tiny gap between the glass and bumper. I'd say they are a 95% fit.

I replaced the rotors and pads last weekend. I bought them locally since shipping to Canada and paying duty would probably end up costing the same. I ended up paying about $525 with taxes. Not an exact answer to your question but I weighted one of my 16" steel wheels off my 09. It weighs 44 lbs w/studded winter tire installed. My aftermarket 17" alloy wheels weighs 40 lbs w/summer tire installed.

Vibe Vs Matrix Maintenance Schedule

Does anyone know the reason why the 09/10 Vibe owners manuals say we need to change the oil every 8,000K or 3 months? I had PT cruiser factory alloys for winter rims on my 09 (before I sold them). The bolt pattern and tire size was the same but the hub is little bigger on the Vibe. Nothing that a set of hub centric rings wouldn't fix.

I used to own a Protege5, and I am certain it was a different bolt pattern than the Vibe. I would test fit those wheels before you buy them.http://www.vehicle-bolt-patter....htmlshows them as 5X114.3 not 5X100I agree that those wheels would look good on the Vibe.

Could be pieces of the water pump impeller. I had an old ford Countour that was overheating and when I pulled the pump the impeller was almost decintegrated. Maybe just keep an eye on the temperature and see if it higher than normal.
