You shouldn't have accepted a dented unit. Those things are fragile and glass coated on the inside.

In case anyone is interested, I fixed my radio problem, described two posts up, by pulling the fuse and rebooting the radio. The fuse is located in the engine compartment.

For some strange reason, this feature has stopped working on my 2009 base radio. It used to display song titles when playing cd's, and if the auto text feature was turned on it would display the cd label also. Now it doesn't display anything except the track number whether auto text is turned on or ...

My 12 year old ford pickup had fewer chips in the paint than my 09 vibe after 4 months. Worse paintjob ever.

Mine doesn't fall off, but the clip sure isn't tight.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't think of locking it manually. I guess that door lock will get used after all.

I've got an 09 base vibe. I'd like to lock the doors after I start the car to warm it up, but they won't stay locked with the engine running. The locks respond to the remote but unlock immediately. Is there a solution for this? Can't find anything in the manual.

I get 34mpg summer, 26 mpg winter. Also, try slowing down. 118kph what do you expect? If you drive 90kph in the summer with good tires, you will get close to posted fuel efficiency.

I love my base 2009 Vibe. Only complaints is that the paint chips if you look at it, and the A/C is a bit weak.
