For the first few thousand miles I was getting grind at a certain RPM when acceleratiing from a stop. I'm thinking the manual transmission locks you out of particular gears at a certain speed or rpm but I'm not too sure

We almost have every color on here now, great! Especially since these models will be a limited run!! As for the remote start you might want to start talking to your local toyota dealer, as they do sell a remote start kit for the matrix which is 98% our vibes.

Thats the "Only" thing that works on our Ponyotas other than airbag alerts. I'd also love to have the GM DIC even though it might not be that accurate it sure was nice to have an idea of range and MPG.

I have the same effect on my '09 GT the stereo could be much better it just needs quality speakers. A local car-audio shop tells me that in order to install "ANY" aftermarket speakers, I need another amp, is that true?

I'm going to try and stay off the throttle for a bit and see if my Exhaust/Intake combo makes any sort of improvement. Problem is intakes make you want to dig in. Check out my K&N post with pics and movie

FYITrue there isn't much clearance between the pipe and the strut brace but rest assured they do not rub each other. Mine is only scratched from installing it. dude is was just a grid road I think. Sort of a purposely bumpy road so that kit cars like the vibe can make it up a mountain road. I really wasn't even going above 10mph either. Needless to say I am very disappointed

69-8613TS K&N SRI for '09 Vibe Installed

So K&N now makes a full performance intake system for the 2.4L. My question is their website only lists it as being compatible with the Scion XB and '09 Matrix(Duh). I guess all I need to know is the MAF Sensor on the Matrix "exactly" the same as the Vibe?

Additionally I got this info from another site"I cross referenced the Toyota part number and have found that K&N filter 33-2326 (as used by the 2007-2008 3.5l V6 Camry) fits the 2009 Matrix 2.4l engine like a glove."

Hey bud look up a company called proclip, I mentioned them in another thread of mine. They make custom device mounts for pretty much every device with power equipped for just about every 98 and up car, the power ones are pricey but are very easy to install and look great

Lost all four of mine this is definitely an issue, my caps all fell off at different times and I reported them to pontiac each separate time so hopefully they will get something going. Just an FYI guys the caps cost $22 plus tax ;(

Hey bud if you're made of money Magnaflow does make whole system for the '09s but its over $600! Do what I did just got a 18in Magnaflow and had them fabricate a new tailpipe and stick a tip on the end. Just an FYI I am currently on a roadtrip from Atlanta, GA to Denver, CO so far the car is cruising quite nicely, naturally the engine really picks up around 4krpm its such a blast to drive over 80Mph and handles surprisingly well for the small load I have in it pics to follow
