Ha! Going before getting in the car saves on gas in at least two ways.1. Less weight2. A person might drive slower, as the bladder or GI tract isn't controlling the gas pedal!

I've been wanting to do this since I debadged the Vibe. Looks great, get some on car pics up ASAP!Anyone have any idea where you could get this trim piece? I'd like to do this mod myself, but I don't want to mess up the one on the car now.

Take those badges off! At least the ones on the side of the car, how many times does "Vibe" need to appear on the car?! My wife drives the Vibe, and since it has been debadged she gets asked at work "what kind of car is that? I was looking all over and it doesn't say anywhere!!"....

Re: New Double Din HU Installed! (Willken3)

The install was pretty easy. It took me an evening to do, this was the first HU I have ever installed. There was no real set up involved afterwards, and the XM stuff provided, which was the mini-tuner kit, was the easiest part to hook up. You have to use the "home dock" in the car, I have ...

Thanks for the info, harryiii. I wonder why they are not listed as fitting the Vibe as well? Could be as simple as a marketing thing, perhaps never fitted on a Vibe in their development of the springs?

H&R Springs

Anyone with any experience with the H&R springs? I did a search, and couldn't find any threads referencing them. There are quiet a few sets on Ebay, listed for the Matrix, and was curious about their reputation.

It's fairly easy, once you get used to it. Like I said, there aren't a slurry of options, so I pretty much just use the source button, volume, and the 1-6 program buttons.I understand the concern with "sticky fingers". I'm trying to figure out a way to remove the Clarion logo, as well as s...

From the prices you quoted, I wouldn't touch that setup. I got the Clarion DUZ385SAT from Crutchfield, and it came with all of the XM stuff to make it work. For the price, I don't think it can be beaten.http://www.crutchfield.com/App...=5684

I don't remember if it had a brand name, it is whatever Crutchfield sent. Hey guys, I picked up this Clarion last week from Crutchfield for $199! So far I really like it, with the only downside being that it doesn't work with my fourth gen Ipod : (. Go to a few different shops and get quotes. Costs vary GREATLY it seems. If they are charging you almost 600 w/o the cost of parts, they must be buying you dinner right?

They are cheap enough too, so I wouldn't sweat it. Tirerack seems to indicate they only have 1 blue and 1 red left, and they aren't sold in pairs. Probably another vendor out there though, but I bet Tirerack won't get more of those.

I'd just have the springs installed and ask the place that puts them on if you need a camber kit. If you do, a week or so of riding around without the kit won't affect your tires that much. You should wait at least a week so the car will settle. A friend of mine had some s-tech springs put on his Sc...

I've wondered this as well about that kit on Tire Rack. Since the Teins dump the car a good bit lower than the Eibachs that Tire Rack carries, it def raises question about that.

Yeah, they do. I had looked at some other brands on there and some specify either way rear or front. The details on the Brembo, saying it fits base Vibe, led me to get those. Seemed like a good price and a known name.Hopefully these guys will be good about it, and all will be fine.

Hey guys,I ordered some Brembo replacement discs last month from an online vendor and actually only went to have them put on yesterday. Actually, I'm borrowing that car while my 2000 Beetle is down. As for any mods, just some wheels, tint, aftermarket HU, and some lowering springs. We moved the roof rack over from the Focus we got rid of. The rack looks way better on the Vibe than it did that car, for sure.

I've done a search, and think it could be the recirculate motor issue that other owner have had, however the sound is different for me:When the vent is on, does not matter if a/c or recirculate is on or off, I hear a clicking sound that is very similar to a cd or dvd player making a ticking sound tr...
