Re: Your drive in to work this morning (yank dini)

Held up great. This was my first drive in snow in the new Vibe and I was pleased. Back wheels went slippy for a split second going up a hill in Ann Arbor, but other than that it was fine. (OK, I could have avoided that hill, but I wanted to see how well the Vibe would take it.)I take M-14 to Ann Arb...

Agreed -- great idea. I stopped by Lowe's on the way home and picked up some of the foamy stuff.

Re: New Base Vibe owner here (NSimkins)

Hey, does sticking my static-cling parking pass for work and my metroparks sticker on the windshield (carefully place,d so as not to mess with the light sensor) count as a "mod"?

Re: Vibe blind spot -- a problem? (Frosty)

Got over the blind spot issue and ended up buying a Vibe ( http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=1387 ).Test drove the Vibe again (ok, two more times) and followed some of Frosty's advice about the mirrors. Spent a lot of time playing with them and found that I could adjust everything to the point...

Re: Make your own Rear-Floor mat (Flip-Side)

Pretty cool! One question though before I go looking for this rubberized foam stuff -- does anybody think this is the kind of foam stuff that biodegrades and gets all nasty (disintegrates) or possibly would stick to the plastic if it gets wet or too warm (direct sunlight, etc.)?

Re: Looks we get while driving (Big_Red)

I'm one of those Vibe checker-outers. (Still deciding...)Saw two of them on the drive to work the other morning (plus the one in my parking lot at work). Ran into the office to tell a Vibe-owning coworker about the number of Vibe spottings that morning.

Vibe blind spot -- a problem?

I've test driven a Vibe twice now and it's the frontrunner to replace my Chevrolet Cavalier. My first impression was so-so, but on the second drive I really started to warm up to the Vibe. (It was the looks and clever and flexible cargo storage that initially got me interested in the Vibe. Plus I'm e...
