I've tried SS in Two cars and they always burnt out within 1-2 years... I wish they lasted longer.. too much hastle to take half the car apart to change a bulb.. Sticking with NH and hoping for better results..

I replaced my burnt out bulb with Nighthawks.. much brighter than stock.. not as bright as SS... but when ever I use SS they seem to always burn out after 1-1.5 years of use.. if the NH last more than 2 years I will recommend them over SS because of Durability. And the NH are at least 15-20% brighte...

You can try oil changers.. if you ask if you can bring your own oil/filter they just might charge you labour and disposal fee.. I think walmart could do the same.I recommend going Mobil 1 and save money and time with longer Oil Change intervals.

Do the oil change yourself. I do. I use Mobil Synthetic and use a Matrix XRS filter.No problems what so ever and I go as long as 15,000 km intervals without worrying about the oil.I'm going to switch to Mobil 1 Extended in Jan and have intervals of 20,000km since I am lazy Canadian Tire caries both ...

Can you add a choice for GE NightHawks.. I just had one of the stock bulbs burn out.. and my experience with Silverstars are that they are awesome.. except they last only 1-2 years max so I'm going to give NightHawks a try

Wow talk about bad luck.. My Family loves the VIBE!! great mileage and awesome storage...Only problem so far is the door seals and the door blocker scratching the Window on the drivers side.. but both problems I fixed myself.. I wouldn't trust a stealer with an oil change now days..But hey everyone ...

You can buy solar panels, converter, and storage batteries all at Canadian Tire. Granted they are low voltage right now.. but can you imagine.. drive 100k go home plug in the car to your solar powered battery and then an hour later drive another 100k.. good riddens oil..

I've done 4hour trips in the Vibe and I find them very comfortable.. especially the nice high seating position.. but if you find them uncomfortable I would look into some high end aftermarket seats.. and for ride comfort.. maybe try switching to Micheline Harmony I hear they have the best ride comfo...

Speaking of the all mighty dealership.. the ad manager at my work had his oil changed at the dealer.. came home and oil spilled all over his driveway!! either the drain plug was loose or the filter was not tightened.. the point is the dealership is way more irresponsible with your car than you would...

I would just buy the Mobil 1 at walmart and bring it into the dealer.. I'm sure they would honour the free oil change.. especially if they are saving on oil costs..CheersMartin.. oh and I do my own oil changes with mobil 1 and it costs me $45 Canadian or so..

I find the Recharge kits are for cleaning.. they usually come with Cleaner and the oil.. I usually clean my filter 1-2 times a year.. but obviously the more dirtier/kms you do, its worth to clean it more often.. in the long run it will be cheaper to clean a K&N air filter than buying a new crapp...

No problems on the vibe except the stupid window issue (which I fixed myself) no engine problems what so ever.. change my own oil every 8-10K with Mobil 1 Synthetic..Great Mileage and great reliability so far 70,000 kms since Feb 2004.CheersMartin

Okay I bought a 194 because it looked more similar to the stock bulb.. plus it said in the bulb manual that a 194 fits many corollas so I got that.. maybe sticky this post for future bulb questions ?

Yes after 70,000 kms I have had to replace ONE thing on the Vibe!! The rear licence plate bulb!! though when I noticed it off, and removed it .. there was no listing for it in the manual, and at CT! I had to visually match it to a bulb that looked exactly the same.. I tried the Matrix manual also no...

Nothing but Mobil 1 Synthetic 5w30 every 10,000 kms or so.. gets to about -35 celcius some days here in the winter.. don't know about cabin temperature but Synthetic is the way to go for cold climates.. way better on the engine, cold startups and mileage..cheers

I've gone on 2 Hour Trips and have found the seats very comfortable.. and for sleeping in the Vibe.. well its the only car that size and that gets great mileage you can actually fit in without curling up in a ball.. all the seats fold down and you can lay down straight .. but thats me Hope your next...

Word to the wise ALWAYS WASH YOUR CAR YOURSELF Never let the dealer DO ANYTHING!! dude I would of washed the car myself instead of waited there for hours!! Sorry about your troubles.. If you are having an alignment issue.. I usually go to Goodyear on Dundas & Wolfedale.. very friendly and they alway diagnose my problem right.. The Vibe started to lean to one side all the time.. brought it in .. they said 1 tire was Fubared (which it was b/c of sis) and they replaced it with t...

I agree with you on the crumple zone.. but the frame is meant to be solid so that it doesn't crushes the passengers .. but the point is that people fear that the car will get crushed... and under severe tests it doesn't.. its a actually a VERY SAFE vehicle... though I wouldn't want to be inside one ...

I bought the most expensive all weather mats at Walmart they work great.. 3years now and they are only a little dirty.. but they done the job 1,000,000x better than the stock mats in the winter cheersoh if you have Weathertech pics I would love to see how the mats compare
