It seems to be called the "run"...

My mechanic friend recommended I replace it as well. That's the soft track lining the door that the window slides in.

I see 68141-01030 as the door run but the Toyota dealer come up snake eyes on that. Is there an alternate number/source?

08V162000 gets me a list of cars/years; I find 2 complaints about windows there.
But it does show the 8 recalls but not what they were when resolved.
Will look further, but now working on parking brakes.

Another Check Engine is really.....

My 2003 GT has a Check Engine signal.

While replacing the stabilizer bar links, the rear brake backing plates, and many other things, we found the cause.

A rodent has chewed open several of the lines from the charcoal canister.
More things to fix!

I got new rear backing plates to hopefully solve my parking brake issues. (The existing ones are rusted and flex when the parking brake is set.)

But to replace the plates, I'll have to remove the hubs. How do I go about doing that?

This forward vs. backward is my case as well.

The un-GT 1ZZ is "LV6"

Still chasing my bearing grumble.

Reading what I find, Monkeywrench sells a special socket to get the pulley off the tensioner.
I infer it's not just E-Torx?

And do both the idler and tensioner use that? They seem to be the same pulleys.
