It's been just over 3 years now. I have 96,000 miles on my Vibe. Not a single problem whatsoever, not even a burnt out bulb.Just replaced the stock Iridium plugs and Serpentine belt. All four wheels seem to have about half the brake pads left, simply amazing considering i tow a jet ski or a large tr...
Here's a report on my manual/base 05 Vibe i bought 2.5 years ago and now have a little over 70,000 miles on it.Constantly average 30mpg highway/city mixed driving. When i tow it usually gets about 25mpgIt has had ZERO problems. I am not easy on my vehicles and it has not complained at all. I have us...

Good luck. I can't believe you don't have anything in the works and you have a family to support.I'm closing in on 15 years active duty, another 5 and i can retire.
Wiring and hitch install are very easy, definitley do it yourself.Note: Our gas mileage goes to crap when towing anything, at 65mph i usually average 20mpg towing virtually any trailer.
Well worth the money to let the pro do it. Otherwise you'll spend $50 on tint, hours of your time, it will still look like crap then you'll have to tear it all off and take it to the pro anyways.

It certainly can cause it to come on. When i bought my car they of course filled it up, the guy didn't tighten the cap, two days later the CEL came on, i took it in, not knowing the reason for the CEL. Biggest waste of a few hours of my time, all thanks to an idiot that can't put a gas cap on correc...
I fill my tank as far as possible (way past the first pump click off) every time i fill up, i now have 24,000 miles on it and it's less than a year old, i have never had a problem.
Well if they're going to make us replicate the problem before they replace i'll never get it done. It only gives the starting problem about once a week and i'm not leaving my car with them for that long and hope they can replicate it.
I'd put in 5w-30 Mobil 1 if you don't have it in already. You need a thin motor oil for winter, sounds like it's not being lubed properly until the oil gets warmer/thinner.
I've never heard of the tall wagon class, and as much as i hate to say i drive a wagon, that's exactly what this car is, denying it doesn't change that FACT lol
Quote, originally posted by IMakeVibes »Nope, badging actually goes on in paint. Thats one of the first things, along with the hood prop. You're right about all the rest of the trim. That goes on towards the end, when they're already driveable. But SHHHHHHH, thats top secret. You can't tell anyone e...
That is completely and utterly ridiculous, 3 weeks to fix some damage from a deer running into the side of your car. I'd hate to see how many months it would take them to fix some real damage.
My 05 with 17k miles has done it since brand new.Sometimes when the car is warm and has been turned off for an hour or so, i try to start it and it will have to crank over for about 10 seconds. I used to try to start for about 5 secs then try again and again, i have finally had it, i just hold the k...

SUV's, Minivans and Station wagons are really starting to blur into one big group. Remember back in the early 90's when you could tell the difference between them?
Very simple solution, get a trailer, less wind resistance, easier to load and unload, easier on the cars paint job, much more utilitarian because you put about anything on a trailer, ie that's how i haul my dirt bike and ATV around.

Quote, originally posted by jake75 »I suspect that the Corolla is lighter, and has less wind resistance. Quote, originally posted by jake75 »WOW - GM Needs to pay you $500,000 for your Vibe so they can figure out what they did to it that allows it to get that kind of mileage. But doesn't the Corolla and Vibe share the same engine? Take a look at Corolla's window sticker, it says 41mpg on Highway.
I use it very often. I could live without it, but it's definitely a plus.and for the rest of you who never use it and say it's a waste, we could also do without power mirrors, locks and windows.
I had good luck with etrailer also, got the wiring from them also. Very simple install thanks to the above mentioned wiring thread. It's funny though, they send this little bitty hitch in a HUGE box lol
Quote, originally posted by tecton »im telling you they should lock down the cars before they activate the pump, that way you cant get away til they authorize itYeah, that's a great idea, and the first time it fails to release your vehicle and you're stuck there for a couple of hours you'll change ...
