According to the motor trend website, the 2007 Vibe will be a redesign and will again be done in conjunction with Toyota. Here is the link.http://www.motortrend.com/futu....html
I'm surprised we haven't seen anything yet since the 2007 models are already coming out and most will be out by the end of the summer. You would think we would have seen some photos from GM or the press.

The GT and AWD are gone for '07 so why redesign it? unless they have something else up their sleeve Quote, originally posted by NascarXprt »i hope its going to be better looking than the 05 and 06 versions with their ugly nose jobs.I happen to like my nose job ... lol

According to this site, 2008 will be the year of the redesign. Like ZubenElGenubi said...but doesn't give any details.http://www.gminsidenews.com/in...Guide

I personally believe it will be 2008 also, as Toyota comes out with an all new Corolla for 2008 and that frame/engine combination will likely be used for the new Vibe and Matrix..but MT says 2007, we shall see. I'm selfishly hoping 2007 as I'd love to trade my 04 for an 07, but if a redesign is coming in 08 i'll wait. And further on a personal note, I too like the old nose better than the new..the new is nice looking and all, but as someone said just not agressive/masculine enough for me..but if thats what it is, it is, and I'd still buy it.
definately talking about 2008 here. GM and Pontiac already said that for '07 there won't be a GT or AWD model due to the new emissions standards (it is that if i remember right). Can't wait for the new model!
Production of new models generally begin around Aug-Sept of the "current" model year. Therefore 2008 models will be built and availible late 2007. That's probably what MT was refering to when they said the new model would be in 2007. Everything I've ever heard about the next Vibe has called it a 2008 model.

I hope GM reused the 22U code for a new color... If they didn't, we're going to have a bit of redundancy on our hands. "Superior Blue Metallic" (see pic) currently occupies code 22U on a number of cars and trucks spread out among several GM divisions, and while it isn't Neptune, it isn't that far off... Darker, yes.I haven't paid enough attention to GM to notice how often they'll use the same paint code for two different colors and two different names for those colors... I've got a sneaky suspiscion that they may sometimes use the same code, same color, but different names sometimes - i.e. that Fusion color looks awfully close to the Sunburst Orange one can find on a Chevy... Those are both 56U..... I dunno.

All the Vibe paint colors are the Toyota versions of whatever colour, not the GM version. Find a nice bright Toyota Blue, and that will be the new blue for the Vibe.

its only logical the 2007 would get a redesign even with the awd and GT dropped from the lineup. 03-04 same design, 05-06 new nose. With those continuing trends... 07-08 model years would look the same also. I'm curious to see if its just a face lift or maybe a redesign of front, sides and rear a little.

If GM's people would read the forums on this website, they could esentially put together the perfect Vibe....well, at least much better. Our forums would be prime feedback for them, and it would be a shame for them to miss out on it for the new model coming out soon. They could make some big bucks if they found out what we were dissapointed in because they could then go fix their flaws.

But corporate policy prevents them from interacting with us. Whether they actually listen to any of our concerns and try to improve future vehicles for future owners is anyone's guess.... They can't really have someone come out and tell us about things, since, well, they'd probably lose their job.

Oh, ok. I'm glad to know that they at least look at this site, but that is a bummer that they can't interact with us. How cool would that be? Then, we would ensure that the new Vibe models would be up to par.
