Re: New Jersey is closed (joatmon)

i work for the state, but i'm at work today. :/ my university passed a bridge budget last week in case this very scenario unfolded. so, we are open for business as usual.it's scary that atlantic city is closed though. i'm sure their lobbying groups will have this situation resolved in a jiffy!

Re: (jimincalif)

I second what Jim mentioned about taxes. In NJ, you can call the municipality tax office to check the current year's tax fees on any piece of property. It is public information. I would strongly recommend doing this, as the information your real estate agent provides might not be correct/current. My ...

Re: Member of the Month? (joatmon)

Perhaps you might put the nominees into a pool, rather than starting fresh each month? This way, those who were not selected in previous months would have another chance? I can see how after a few months the pool might need to be cleaned out if the nominations no longer apply....and this method woul...

On one particular radio station, I would sometimes have a similar problem. The volume would increase for a few seconds, then would go back to my normal level. I believe it may be related to the radio data system (described in the owner's manual), but I am really just guessing!I have an 03 with moons...

Re: (Kari)

I'm also a bowler. It's a lot of fun, although it can be aggravating! My high game is 269, I use 14lb...I wish I was stronger to be able to throw 15, but I lose a lot of speed and stamina when I try to use 15...I think that you are allowed to use as many fingers as you want, as long as you don't cha...

Re: Sirius Receiver that matches Vibe Interior (NSimkins)

I have a Starmate, it is a perfect match to the vibe's colors. It does look a little bit reddish in the picture, but in real life it's a great orange. It fits perfectly in the tray in front of the shifter (thanks CP and Kari for the photos of your satellite installs!). I can even still manage to squ...

PC: World of Warcraft. Really nice for the casual gamer. The hubby and I played EQ for several years but can't commit the time anymore. My husband has an '05 9-2x linear, and he is loving it. It has more power than my Vibe, better AC, standard AWD, but less leg room and cargo room. Every time we drive in it, he mentions how much he enjoys driving it. With the rebates they are offering, it's hard to beat the price....There's also the...

Re: Encountering any brake-related noises? Check here! (NSimkins)

I have two brake issues to describe. The first is the same problem many others are experiencing: when it is damp or even very humid, the brakes grind and squeal when the first applied, but not after that.1. Is the squeak/groan coming from the front or back? back, I think2. Does the noise go away aft...
